What is included in the tour

  • Private AC Vehicle : Pune – Bandra Terminus – Pune.
  • 3 AC Train Journey : Bandra Terminus – Delhi – Bandra Terminus.
  • Semi Sleeper AC Volvo : Delhi – Manali – Delhi.
  • All food charges (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner) Ex. Manali.
  • Accommodation in tents at Manali (Shuru) and at higher campsite on multiple sharing.(Separate tents for boys and girls.)

Day 1 :

  • Pune – Mumbai – Delhi (3AC Train Journey)
  • All Participants have to report at Via Ferrata’s  Office by Sharp 6.30 am. Depart for Bandra Terminus at 7 am. Breakfast on the way. Reach Bandra around 11 am (Mumbai Participants can Join at Bandra Station at their Own arrangements.) Board 12216 DEE Garibrath Express (3 AC) 12.45 pm & proceed towards Delhi.
  • Overnight Train Journey.

Day 2 :

  • Delhi to Manali (Volvo Journey – 575 Kms, 15 Hours)
  • Reach Delhi Rohila Station at 12.15 pm. Freshen-up at Railway Station. After Lunch depart for Manali by Semi Sleeper Volvo around 5 pm. Delhi Participants can Join us at Volvo Pick up Point at their Own arrangements. Pick up point will be confirmed before 7 days of Departure.
  • Overnight Bus Journey.

Day 3 :

  • Manali (Shuru)
  • Arrive at Manali Bus Stand around 8 am. Onward Journey to Campsite by Local Sumo (5 kms). On arrival at base camp tents will be allotted. After Refreshment Introduction, Group Games & Group discussion & small Acclimatization Trek.
  • Overnight at Shuru Campsite.

Day 4 :

  • Shuru to Bhanara Hills / Thorku Dugh (1 & ½ Hour Trek)
  • The day begins at 6 am with a warm up session and move to Mountain Base Camp either Thorku Dugh (2230m.) or Bhanara Hills (2170m) a meadow amidst of the silver fir forest. Trail ascends through forest till Mountain Base camp, which is one and half hours trek. Tent Allocation, Breakfast Introduction of various Rock climbing gears & equipments followed by a practical session on the rocks. Participants will learn various kinds of knots and various climbing techniques & drills.
  • Overnight at Campsite.

Day 5 :

  • Adventure Activity
  • The day begins at 6 am the students will go through a warm up session. After having breakfast Adventure activities like Rappelling, River Crossing etc. During the Adventure activities our Team will focus on Fear and Risk Management issues followed by a group discussion on the same.

Day 6 :

  • High altitude Trek
  • The next day the group goes on a high altitude trek to Tilgan (2470M). The group will be introduced to the agriculture tourism & mountaineering skills and back to campsite. Field cooking under the guidance of instructors.

Day 7 :

  • Rafting on Beas River
  • In the morning return trek back to the Base camp and settle into the tents. The participants immediately will be driven by Sumo down to Rafting point at Kullu. Evening roam around the market.

Day 8 :

  • Snow Point – Manali – Delhi (Bus Journey – 575 Kms, 15 Hours)
  • A complete group will be driven by local bus/Sumo very an early in the morning to the either Shivling point -Solang Nullah or nearby point Hamta/ Gulaba. The participants have to trek almost one and half hour to Hamta Snow point/ Solang glacier to touch chunk of snow. Afternoon followed by a farewell ceremony / roam around Mall road & departs in the evening towards Delhi by Vovlo.
  • Overnight Bus Journey.

Day 9 :

  • Delhi to Mumbai (3 AC Train Journey)
  • Arrival at Delhi around 7.30 am. Board Train 12215 Garibrath Express 3 AC for Bandra Terminus by 9.20 am.
  • Overnight Train Journey.

Day 10 :

  • Mumbai to Pune
  • Arrival at Bandra Terminus at 8.10 am. Proceed to Pune by AC Coach. Reach Pune around 2 pm. Relax at home with everlasting Memories of Manali Adventure Camp.

What to Bring for Manali Adventure Camp ?

Morning Utilities :

  • Tooth Brush,Tooth Paste, Tissue (Toilet) paper, Paper Soap, Towel, Napkin

  • Comfortable clothing while Rafting & Flexible Dress for Trekking & Adventure Activities, Extra Dresses for Journey, Full Sleeves T-Shirt (Preferably Dry fit / Lycra)

  • Shawl,Thermal Wear, Balaklava (Kantopi), Woolen Gloves.

  • Water bottle – Min. 2 Ltr., Torch with extra Cells, Id Proof (compulsory), Nail cutter, Safety pin, Chain & lock for luggage security in Rail Journey.

Tips for Manali Adventure Camp:

  • Familiarize yourself to new shoes before bringing them to the Manali Adventure Camp.Shoes must be large enough so that you can wriggle your toes with socks on.
  • Please avoid perfumes, Deodorants, scented oils on trails as these disturb the wild animals.
  • For Manali Adventure Camp be sure to bring along your thermal wear, pullovers, jerkins / wind cheaters, monkey caps, gloves etc.
  • As protection against sudden downpour, do pack your clothes / equipment in separate plastic bags before putting them in the haversack.
  • Try to avoid Headphones or gossip with friends. You may miss many wonderful animals and birds in the bargain.
  • Keep our environment clean. Please carry all non-biodegradable (plastic) waste back with you.
  • Do not keep valuable while trekking / Camping.
  • Use plastic carry bags to save your mobile & Wallet.
  • Avoid Jean pant for inconvenience in Walking / Climbing.
  • Always keep your Original Photo ID with you.
  • Don’t expect similar food quality of your home town. Try Local food to have some different Experience.
  • Respect the Local Religion & Traditions.
  • While taking Photographs don’t click photos of Local people without their permission.
  • Keep Healthy environment & helpful nature while Trekking & at the time of Activity.
  • Do not litter on the trails.
